Ms. Vasudha Hande (PhD ongoing, M.Phil. M.Sc.)
Clinical Psychologist

​

Ms. Vasudha Hande is a registered Clinical Psychologist with more than eight years of experience in the field of mental health. She has completed her MSc in Clinical Psychology from Kuvempu University, Shivamogga and MPhil in Clinical Psychology from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. She is registered under the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). She is trauma-informed having undergone 3-months long training in trauma-informed psychotherapy under Dr Shalini Anant, Anaahat Psychotherapy, Mumbai. She is queer-friendly and is working on equipping herself with queer affirmative approaches.

As part of her MPhil training, she has worked with various common and severe psychological disorders like anxiety disorders and depressive disorders. She has worked extensively with children with neuro-developmental disabilities like intellectual disability, specific learning disability, autistic spectrum disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and their families. She has a passion for working with children and child-rearing practices. Her training in trauma-informed psychotherapy has helped her identify subtle early signs of insecurities in parent and child interactions and help prevent major attachment traumas and the inter-generational traumas.

Apart from clinical experience, Vasudha has also actively been engaged in research and teaching activities. She has been awarded junior research fellowship from the University Grant Commission and has published several research papers.  As a therapist, she believes that every individual has a potential to change, to grow and to live their life to the fullest. A therapist acts as a facilitator for the same.

​

Individual therapy- Rs. 1800 per session

Child and adolescent psychotherapy/(Parent-Child dyad): Rs 2000 per session

For International Residents

Individual therapy- Rs. 2000 per session

Child and adolescent psychotherapy/(Parent-Child dyad): Rs 2200 per session
