Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a joint process between a therapist and a person in therapy. Common goals of therapy can be to inspire change or improve quality of life. People may seek therapy for help with issues that are hard to face alone. Though the goals of individual therapy vary from client to client, one common goal that most of our consultants like to have in their therapy sessions is to facilitate healing and self-compassion.

Supervision for Professionals

At any stage of our journey as a mental health service provider we may need little bit of handholding and peer support in order to handle some cases better, especially ones that are a bit complex. Peer supervision is a very important aspect of one's journey as a therapist that helps one grow as a clinician. At times we do get clients who seem to be challenging or clients who trigger strong countertransference and at that time peer supervision becomes all the more important because having a neutral opinion always helps. We, at The Healing Space, provide peer supervision to our fellow mental health professionals and can be contacted for the same.

Please Note: The eligibility for peer supervision is as follows:

1. Either having an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from an RCI recognized institute or

2. Having a Masters in Psychology (Clinical or Counselling) and actively seeing clients for at least 1 year.
