Dr. Akanksha Rani, has a doctorate in Psychiatric Social Work from NIMHANS, Bengaluru, wherein she worked on trauma-focused research. She has almost 12 years of experience of working with men and women who are trauma survivors. She has applied trauma-informed lens to trauma-focused psychotherapy especially seeing effectiveness of postmodern psychotherapies like narrative therapy, solution-focused brief therapy and trauma-Focused Family Therapy (TF-FT) when working with individuals and families who are trauma survivors. She has also explored grief as an outcome of trauma and has applied acceptance and commitment therapy and have worked from eclectic approach applying humanistic-existential therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
She has significant experience in couple and family therapy, addressing various issues such as work-life balance challenges for working couples, relationship difficulties in same-sex couples due to societal stereotypes, and complications arising from mental health issues in couples. Additionally, she has worked with families dealing with adolescent substance abuse and emotional or behavioral problems.
Dr. Akanksha is a certified Art Therapy practitioner and a certified Queer Affirmative Therapist (certified QACP from Mariwala Health Initiative).

Dr. Lekshmi Vimala (PhD, M.Phil., MSW)
Psychotherapist
Dr. Lekshmi Vimala is a psychotherapist with 9 years of experience in the field of mental health. She completed her MPhil and PhD in Psychiatric Social Work from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. Her PhD thesis was on media engagement to facilitate suicide prevention initiatives, and she has been actively involved in gatekeeper training and other programs that generate awareness on suicide. She has also done extensive work with clients using Solution Focused Therapy and Strength based perspectives.
She is LGBTQ affirmative and trauma informed, looking beyond labels to support the clients live a fulfilling life. She has undergone intense training during her MPhil and PhD tenure that helps her work with a diverse range of clients. She also believes in lifelong learning and keeps herself updated on all the latest developments in the field of mental health.

Consultant Couples and Family Therapist
Dr Diana Ross is a Psychotherapist with 14 years of experience in the area of mental health. She has done her M.Phil. and PhD in Psychiatric Social Work from NIMHANS (Institute of National Importance), Bangalore. She is trained in various forms of psychotherapies. She has worked extensively with individuals having various mental illnesses during her tenure in NIMHANS. She believes that her training has helped her view her clients' difficulties holistically.
As a clinician she is trauma-informed and LGBTQ affirmative. She values problem solving in human behaviours in an emotional or relational context, with a strength based eclectic approach. Her aim is to help clients improve their stress-coping ability and enhance their emotional well-being.
