Ms. Anisha Khanna (M.Phil., M.A.)

Ms. Anisha Khanna is an RCI registered Clinical Psychologist having more than 12 years of experience in the field. She did her graduation (B.A), post graduation (M.A) as well as M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from the University of Calcutta. Ms. Anisha has always been academically excellent, ranking first in Bachelors and second in Masters.
She has worked extensively with individuals having Anxiety disorders like OCD, Panic disorder, GAD as well as Depression during her tenure in NIMHANS, Bengaluru. She worked in the Behavioural Medicine Unit, where apart from providing psychotherapy to patients she has supervised M.Phil students. During her tenure in Tata Medical Centre she closely worked with patients having cancer and comorbid psychological issues. She was also a member of Breast Cancer support group where psychological support was provided to Breast cancer patients. During her tenure in Institute of Neurosciences, Kolkata she worked closely with adolescents and young adults and provided psychometry and psychotherapy for their mental health disorders. She had organized several peer group discussions for Stress management & OCD.
She has been trained in Schema therapy by Professor Arnoud Arntz in July 2020. Her training in Schema Therapy makes her a trauma-informed therapist and she uses experiential activities, such as imagery exercises, in her therapeutic approach. Overall, she doesn’t believe in labels or diagnosis being attached with a particular patient, but seeing each patient having a set of problems or issues, and understanding the process involved in solving them.

Dr. Preeti Jajodia is a mental health counsellor, specializing in child development and childhood mental health issues. She primarily works with parents, teachers and other caregivers, handholding them through the process of creating an appropriate atmosphere for age-adequate learning and development.
She has a BA in Psychology (Hons) from Bethune College, Kolkata, an MA in Social Work from TISS, Mumbai, an MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work from NIMHANS, Bangalore and a PhD in Social Work from Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan.
With 7.5 years of experience, she specializes in best practices in parenting, helping caregivers learn suitable methods and techniques for nurturing a healthy caregiver-child relationship. Her work with the caregiving environment is informed by the connection and attachment-based parenting approach where the focus is on developing connection and using that to help children navigate life. She also conducts medium-scale workshops with parent groups and schools on relevant topics.

Dr. Lekshmi Vimala is a psychotherapist with 7 years of experience in the field of mental health. She completed her MPhil and PhD (pending award) in Psychiatric Social Work from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. Her PhD thesis was on media engagement to facilitate suicide prevention initiatives, and she has been actively involved in gatekeeper training and other programs that generate awareness on suicide. She has also done extensive work with clients using Solution Focused Therapy and Strength based perspectives.
She is LGBTQ affirmative and trauma informed, looking beyond labels to support the clients live a fulfilling life. She has undergone intense training during her MPhil and PhD tenure that helps her work with a diverse range of clients. She also believes in lifelong learning and keeps herself updated on all the latest developments in the field of mental health.

Ms. Megha is an RCI Licensed Clinical Psychologist, with an experience of working with clients and their families for about 10 years. She pursued her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and Brain & Cognitive Science, from University of Rochester (USA), followed by Master’s of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University (USA). She returned to India to pursue MPhil in Clinical Psychology from Institute of Psychiatry-COE (Kolkata) and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Central Institute of Psychiatry (Ranchi). She has also worked as a clinical psychologist in the Department of Clinical Psychology at NIMHANS (Bengaluru).
In addition, to her academic pursuit, she has been trained in Acceptance and Commitment Based Therapy (both levels) and Emotions Focussed Therapy (both levels). She is also a licensed Trauma Based Practitioner, trained from Arizona Trauma Institute under Dr. Rhoton. Additionally, she is trained in Queer Affirmative Counselling Practice (QACP) from the Mariwala Health Initiative.
With her extensive training and experiences, she truly believes that the client has healing abilities within themselves, and can be empowered by the right therapist. (Clinical Psychology) from Institute of Psychiatry, Kolkata and M.Sc. in Applied Psychology (with Clinical and Forensic Psychology specialization) from Department of Applied Psychology, University of Calcutta. She is currently a Ph.D. research scholar in Department of Psychology, University of Calcutta.

She has 7 years of experience working in the field of Clinical Psychology and more than 3 years of teaching experience. She is currently working in the post of Assistant Professor in Department of Clinical Psychology, Institute of Psychiatry – COE, Kolkata, since 2018. She has experiences of working as a Clinical Psychologist in various mental health set-ups. She has worked intensively as a Behavioural Therapist in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis in children with developmental disabilities.

Ms. Souparni Dutta is an RCI-registered clinical psychologist, having completed her M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from University of Calcutta. She has also completed her Masters (M.Sc) and Bachelors (B.Sc) from University of Calcutta.
Throughout the course of her M.Phil and Masters, as well as through internships and previous work experiences, Ms Dutta has gained extensive experience of interacting with individuals suffering from a wide range of mental health problems. She is especially well versed in managing individuals with depression, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), borderline personality disorder (BPD), and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Ms Dutta believes in maintaining an eclectic approach to therapy, wherein she focuses on targeting the specific symptoms that trouble each individual, on a case-by-case basis.
Apart from her therapeutic experience, Ms Dutta also has a modicum of research experience, having co-authored a book chapter on the coping repertoire of the non-clinical population during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ms. Sonal did her BA in Psychology from Delhi University, MA in Clinical psychology from Amity University, Noida, and M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from the Post Graduate Institute of Behavioral & Medical Sciences, Raipur (PGIBMS). Ms. Abhipsha is an empathic and passionate mental health professional with a keen interest in the human psyche. She has done her Bachelors in Applied Psychology, Masters in Counselling Psychology and her M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from an RCI approved institute. She has worked with children and adults experiencing a variety of complex mental health issues.
