Ms. Prerna has completed her M.A. in Psychology with Clinical Psychology as her specialization. Further, she did her M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from Institute of Psychiatry-Centre of Excellence (IOP-COE), Kolkata. Prior to that, she was associated with
NIMHANS Bangalore for 4 years. She has also cleared NET in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Psychology from Guwahati University.

Her areas of interest are Anxiety disorders, Obsessive Compulsive and related disorders, and Personality Disorders. She specializes in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy. She has co-authored multiple research articles and book chapters. She has a research experience of 4 years. She likes reading and creative writing.

Ms. Prerna uses a trauma and attachment-informed lens while working with her clients and is formally trained in Schema Therapy and body-focused approaches.
