Ms. Sneha Parkar (M.A., B.A.)
Counselling Psychologist

Ms. Sneha's clinical experience includes working with individuals navigating complex trauma, self-harm, abuse, interpersonal issues, anxiety, depression and self-image issues. She has experience working with caregivers and their patients diagnosed with cancer in the form of one-on-one sessions and support groups in a community setting. Her experience has allowed her to not only delve into the spoken narratives but also the unspoken pain of each client.

Ms. Sneha takes an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), existential psychotherapy, and metaphor therapy, all within a trauma-informed framework. For her, therapy is a collaborative and deeply human journey. She strives to meet each client with openness and curiosity.

She continuously seeks opportunities to grow and stay updated in the field. By staying current with new research, therapeutic approaches, and reflective practices, she aims to offer care that is not only compassionate but also informed, relevant, and responsive to each person’s unique journey. She is currently undergoing training in Trauma and Stress Studies from the Trauma Research Foundation (founded by Dr. Bessel Van der Kolk, a leading trauma therapist).

As an individual Ms. Sneha is a very compassionate therapist and carries a deep personal understanding of what it means to sit in the client’s seat. Her own lived experience of undergoing therapy herself allows her to meet her clients with deep empathy and respect for showing up in the therapy space.
